Cathy Libby

Chief Operating Officer, Maine Listings

Cathy has been involved in the real estate industry since 1986 when she was first hired as a secretary for a real estate office in Bath, Maine. In 1998, she was hired by the Portland Board of REALTORS® to be the Executive Director of their Service Center which provided local REALTORS with access to computerized MLS services. In 1999, she was recruited by Maine Listings to work as a Trainer/Technical Advisor and later promoted to Chief Operating Officer. Maine Listings is a statewide MLS with over 5,000 users and on January 1, 2017, Cathy will assume the responsibilities as CEO of Maine Listings.

As a member of the Council of Multiple Listing Services, Cathy currently serves on four CMLS Section Councils: Technology, Human Resources, Customer Service, and Marketing and Communications. She has completed her CMLX Level 1 and 2 designations and is a member of the inaugural class of CMLX3. She has served on the NAR MLS Issues and Policy Committee since 2009, and on the Corelogic User Advisory Board since 2008.
